TFI Precision Vertical Grinding Machine specially designed for below application:

Machine's Description:

1. Machine Bed
   Sturdy welded construction, thermally stress released, vibration absorbed in torson-resistant box design.
   
   Smooth outfit of interior space with wide water outlet at the side for quick discharge of water and easy cleaning of machine bed.
   
   
2. Guideways
   Strong, hardened and ground precision guideways, on to which support-side guide and anti-lift rollers are placed and are pre-adjusted to a firm system with high rigidity and closed power flow.
   
   
3. Machine Table
   Electromagnetic chuck, turnable 360°, width 200 mm carried multiply, with strong cogs and bearings (10 mm diameter) for biggest torsional rigidity, completely protected against spraying water and high voltage controlled with two additional mechanical clamping surfaces and milled grooves for clamping non-magnetic material. Electronic demagnetizing unit.
   
   By means worm wheel and worm spindle and scale each angle can be adjusted sensitively by hand wheel.
   
   The clamping is ensued manually.
   
   
4. Grinding Carriage
   Heavy construction with best load distribution and quiet running for highest continuous stress, with big cut-outs, which make possible a direct view to the illuminated grinding area. The sturdy, hardened and ground precision guiding for the vertical adjustment are sensitively adjustable via triple taper gib infeed. The adjustment is effected by means of our ball screw spindle system for balance of play and weight.
   
   
5. Down Feed
   The chip down-feed is affected by means of an AC inverter motor. Down-feed can be selected on reversal points by inverter.
   
   All adjustment rates are digitally displayed via PLC-control.
   
   The rapid traverse makes quick adjusting movements possible for setting the grinding tool as well as the change of the grinding wheel.
   
   Spark out strokes with pre-selection in connection with PLC-control.
   
   After finishing of the spark out program the grinding carriage travels to the parking position and stops automatically.
   
   
6. Grinding Motor
   Special construction grinding motor with strong motor spindle
   
   
7. Grinding Tool
   One flange with ring wheel 250 mm0
   
   
8. Traverse Drive
   Feed of grinding carriage via helical rack and pinion, driven by an AC motor, steplessly variable within the range of 0.02 to 30 m/min. The adjustment is ensued via PLC-control at control desk.
   
   Touchless and bumpless reversal via proximity switches. Reversal at any position, easily adjustable
   
   
9. Coolant Equipment
   Multiple chambered relief basin at the side of the machine with a submergible pump for coolant water supply.
   
   For clearing the workpieces, the table and the machine bed, a pump with a special water hose is provided.
   
   
10. Electrical Equipments (380 V, 3 ph)
    Installations are accordance to specifications and regulations. All switch gears are placed in a separate switch gear cabinet.
    
    The control and indication panel is mounted on the grinding carriage which is easy to be reached and controls are grouped according to ergonomic principles.
    
    The cables for the grinding carriage are running through a cable carrying chain.
    
    
11. Others
    All necessary protections against spraying water and accidental contracts as well as special tools are contained within the contents of delivery.
    
    
12. PLC-Control/Operator panel control
    Siemens operator panel for input of down feed value in combination with Siemens PLC, Simatec OP7
    
    
13. Automatic Lubrication
    Automatic, time controlled oil supply with control and supervisory apparatus.
